About The Founder & Trainer

LMC LEARNING was given birth in 2000, operating as a sole proprietor operation by the founder and owner Dr MC Leong. Apart from conducting consultancies and training courses, LMC LEARNING is also a learning provider to major corporate training organisations in Malaysia and in the Middle East.

Dr Leong started in the IT corporate sales and marketing before progressing to academia and training. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2003 and he coaches project managers to be PMP-certified. He has a Ph.D. degree in Information Technology from Open University Malaysia, a M.Sc. degree in Information Technology for Manufacture from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, and a Diploma in Technology (Electronic Engineering) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Malaysia. Dr Leong delivers value by capitalizing on real case studies and project management knowledge through interacting with his Middle East and Asia clients during his consultancy work and delivery of training courses in IT Project Management, Agile, Technical and Generic Project Management. 

He uses this knowledge and turns them into real-world project management case studies, consultancy and lessons learnt that are beneficial to his clients. He is familiar with the setting up of Project Management Office (PMO) assets, putting-in project standard operating procedures and documentation. He also develops learning materials and lectures part-time in university postgraduate degree modules like Managing Projects in IT, Systems Thinking, Leadership & Management, Organization Development, Organization Behavior, Culture and Ethics.
